Pacioli's Lights - Geometric Design Students explored the three dimensional objects that Leonardo da Vinci and Luca Pacioli created for the 1509 book The Divine Proportion. They designed, built, and sold a polyhedra light fixture of their own creation. Using a corded light socket and an Edison light bulb, students made the geometric shade to disperse, beautify and enhance the light source. The final shade was made of plywood and cut out using the HTMNC Laser Cutter. These pendant lights were on Exhibit at Charity Wings Art Center Dec 16-January 11.
